Voicemail

How To Use Voicemail :

Voicemail is set up and ready to use on all T-Mobile phones (It's activated on pay as you go phones as soon as you've made your first chargeable call).

It's free for you to receive and store messages and there's no charge for listening to them as long as you're calling from your T-Mobile phone within the UK.

Standard voicemail lets you store up to ten messages, each up to 90 seconds, for up to three days. You can increase this with voicemail extra.

Record your greeting

A personal greeting lets callers know they're through to the right person. To record your personal greeting:

  1. Call your voicemail, listen to the announcement and select option 2 (To record a personal greeting).
  2. Record your message. It's simple to do it again if you don't like it.


Check your messages

An indicator or shows you've received a voicemail message. To pick up your messages:

  1. If your phone has an envelope button, press that.
  2. Or press and hold the 1 key.
  3. Or select 'voicemail' from your phone's menu.There's no charge to pick up messages (within the UK) but pay as you go customers need to be in credit.

    Call return

After listening to a voicemail message simply press the # key and return the call straight away. No long numbers to remember or searching for a pen and paper. Just press # and return the call.

Using your voicemail service is free using T-Mobile (UK) within the UK. If you use call return you will be charged to return the call as per your price plan.

Using your voicemail service whilst roaming will be charged as per the normal roaming voicemail service. Call return will be charged as though you were in the UK. Access to and charging for the voicemail service will continue whilst you use call return.

Set a voicemail PIN

This protects your voicemail and lets you pick up your messages from any touch-tone phone. Pay monthly customers can also use it to pick up messages from abroad:

  1. Call your voicemail.

  2. Select 'Personal options' followed by 'To change mailbox features' or 'Administrative options' and follow the instructions.

  1. Call your T-Mobile number.
  2. Interrupt your voicemail greeting by pressing #.
  3. Enter your PIN number.
  4. Listen to your messages.
